EA 2020 – Next Steps

To honor what after three years in a row has become an annual tradition, EA is hosting the workshop during gamescom week and you are invited to join and discuss what the future has in store for game localization!

Although we will not be able to meet in Cologne this time, we will do our best so this digital edition comes as close to the real thing as possible, so you will get the chance to network and share findings, achievements and innovative ideas. The focus will be automation, and everything related to that. There will be enough room to talk about machine translation, text to speech and speech to text, innovative tools and much more in terms of AI applications and tools that help automate our daily work and internal workflow.

To make it easier for people to join in different time-zones, we are planning to split the workshop day into more digestible parts across 3 afternoons. To allow for the same level of intimacy, we would like participants to join for all of these if possible.

More information will follow shortly as we are still in the process of finding the right balance for our agenda, but for now, save some space in your calendar for August 24th – 26th, and let us know if you want to talk about any particular innovative process you have recently implemented.

You can now register for the workshop via the “REGISTER” button on the left.

So stay tuned and don’t hesitate to get in touch with Daniel or me if you have any questions!

Looking forward to our Next Steps!

-Cristina (EA)
