Hello everyone,

The follow-up event for the Quality Standard in Game Localization topic discussed at the Supercell workshop is now open for registration! The Work Group will meet at GameHouse (Eindhoven, NL) and will be hosted by Susan, who will helm the initiative together with Silvio:
Let’s embark upon the next stage of finding a standard for evaluation localization quality. This event is a follow up to the localization quality evaluation topic discussed at the Supercell Workshop. In contrast to the previous event, this will focus only on this one subject. The goal is to create a manifesto for LQE in games. This document is by no means intended as a final product. It is to serve as the baseline for further discussion.
In order to have an effective session, the number of participants in the work group will be limited to 10 participants. The discussion group will explore the subject and look into details through brainstorming sessions. If you are interested in helping to develop the framework for future discussion, this is for you.
The outcome of this work group session will be made available for peer review and comments after the event.

You can sign-up for the event via the "Register" form directly on the event page. At the time of writing there are still 5 spots left.

If you cannot attend this event, let me console you with the prospect of other opportunities for you to meet your peers coming later this year. I will send out more info regarding these soon.

Have a nice weekend!
